"Deep Growth with an Eye on Zone 0" with Lea Hall

  • Campus Center, Room 215 1600 Grand Avenue Saint Paul, MN, 55105 United States (map)

Because of Zone 0 choices, three initiatives succeeded or failed: replanting rainforest in Costa Rica, creating a permaculture homestead in Florida, transforming a conventional Wisconsin farm into a productive and sustainable refuge. Which permaculture design principles apply? How do we build Zone 0 into our designs? This workshop invites participants to reflect on, share, and possibly revise their designs for current projects to include explicit care of self. Some tools for psychological and spiritual resilience will be introduced.
