The Urban Leadership Institute is an intergenerational community-based initiative that builds on local assets to increase a community's capacity to respond to environmental stressors via Sustainable Community Design. This workshop will explore a community-based approach and illustrate its applicability across social and economic strata. Participants will learn cross-cultural communication tools that begin to prick the consciousness of interested people, creating actionable activity that is sustainable, measurable, and leads towards a shared vision for systemic change.
