"Exploring Our Natural Voices and Nature Songs" with Clifton Ware

This class involves participation of audience and volunteer singers in exploring techniques for developing "natural" or “authentic” voices, according to basic maxims, techniques, and procedures that produce efficient, healthy, and communicative voice production. Six stereotypical voice productions will be demonstrated and explored, using 1-2 simple "Eco Songs."


Clifton Ware

Clifton Ware, UMN-TC professor emeritus-voice, has performed extensively as tenor soloist. Since his retirement in 2007, he co-founded Citizens for Sustainability and publishes the "Sustainability Education Forum News-Views Digest,” an e-newsletter.
