A Sustain-A-Raiser looks a lot like a permablitz, but designed for audiences still new to permaculture. Be among the first to learn about and lay hands on the recently published Sustain-A-Raiser Starter Kit – a customizable resource for organizing volunteer driven installations of gardens, rain barrels, clothesline, cold frames, and compost bins. The kit includes templates for press releases, volunteer hour tracking, sponsorship packets, lesson plans, team building activities, posters, and more! This resource was created to support community groups, Transition or otherwise, interested in organizing sustainability related service projects, but just don’t quite know where to begin.
