Do you want a repair cafe in your hometown? Come to this workshop to learn how. Repair Cafe Pasadena is a free, roving, all-purpose repair shop and festival for and by the community. It’s a meeting of repair people and people who need things repaired. This workshop will be a case study of Repair Cafe Pasadena, which started in 2012 with the local time bank, some volunteers, and free venues. It’s a real-life example of the alternate economy of gifting and sharing. Repair cafes started in the Netherlands and are spreading all over the world. Come and get inspired!
